About Hope

My personal experience with Hope is at Rosewood Memory Support for almost one year. She has been one of my 95 year old mother’s Resident Assistants along with 8 other people in Unit A. From personal observation, I can assure you that it is not an easy job. My sister and I are there daily for long hours. I am very impressed by Hope’s ability to handle such a difficult job with compassion, patience, superior care skills and a positive attitude. She is very flexible and able to handle all the unexpected situations that occur when working with Seniors with all levels of dementia. She answers my mother’s call button immediately and enters her room with a smile and eagerness to assist my mother with her needs, which are many at the age of 95. Hope’s job requires a special person who can remain calm among those with rather difficult behaviors at times, and many of her job requirements are repetitive. Observing Hope step up to all the challenges that we see is refreshing these days. My mother requires assistance with transferring, dressing, bathing, and toileting to name a few. Hope always communicates well and listens to my mother’s requests with kindness. I am always happy to see that she is working when entering the facility because I know it will be a great day. Furthermore, I have observed Hope as the leader of the daily activities for all of Memory Support at Rosewood on several occasions. Her excellent enthusiasm, leadership, interpersonal abilities and creativity promote more people to want to participate in the activities and social engagement which is so vital for those with dementia. It is difficult to keep seniors with all different stages of dementia on task and participating in various activities. In my observation, Hope always did an awesome job. I know that she also works in the Assisted Living section of Rosewood. She also worked at Rosewood in Housekeeping for one year. I would highly recommend Hope to assist you with your needs whether it be housekeeping or care for your dear Senior family member.
