Hi! My name is Hope, and I've been working with children since I was 13, starting as a babysitter and never looking back! In addition to babysitting, I began working in childcare as a teacher's assistant in 2019. After moving to Kansas City in 2020, I spent two years at Ward Parkway Primrose caring for children ages one to four. I then worked as a private nanny for children from newborn to age five for another two years. I completed my teaching degree in 2024 and just finished my first year as a full-time third grade teacher. I have experience with children from infancy through age 12, including gifted learners and those with special needs. I genuinely love working with all kinds of kiddos! I'm not looking for anything full-time, but I'm currently off for the summer and would love to help with babysitting or part-time care when I'm available. I cannot recommend Hope enough! She watched my two boys (ages 3 and 6) while I was out of town for a weekend wedding, and they’re STILL talking about her. She came prepared with crafts, a bedtime story lineup, and even helped my oldest build a cardboard robot costume out of a diaper box. She kept me updated with photos and was super flexible when my flight got delayed. My youngest is usually shy, but he was asking for “Miss Hope” by name after one day. Total lifesaver!
