About Hope

Hi my name is Hope! I started baby sitting for my parents small group where I watched 15+ kids at a time while their parents were down the street. I have also camp counseled for a musical theater camp. I did child care for my nephews and niece as well. When I was in college my major was psychology so have a lot of knowledge about early childhood development as well! I'd describe my personality as warm, genuine, and bubbly. I like working with kids because they are silly, unpredictable, and energetic. I'm looking for a job that is rewarding and somewhat flexible. I started working with kids when I was 13 (so 13 years ago) In my spare time, I like to do theater, sing, and watch fun movies and tv shows. One thing you should know about me is I am a singer and an auditioning actress so I do shows with civic theater and things like that. My skills include helping the kids stay occupied and use their imagination, helping kids adjust when things don't go their way, and staying on schedule.
