I'm a babysitter in Locust Valley with 3 years of experience in childcare ages 1-12! Experience: - Counselor at North Shore Day Camp in Nursery(ages 1-4) - Sleepaway camp counselor at Camp Bernadette(ages 5-12) - Babysitting ~ During my two summers at NSDC I cared for a group of 1-3-year-olds. This taught me many skills for taking care of young children such as diaper changing, tantrum de-escalation, providing age appropriate activities, comforting, food safety, general safety, potty training, and more. ~At Camp Bernadette I lived with and cared for a group of 5-10-year-olds and worked with older kids during the day. I loved getting to know all of my campers and being there for them when they needed me. This taught me how to care for children but also lots of fun crafts and activities that I incorporate into my babysitting :) I'm happy to provide references and schedule an interview to get to know each other. **note: I do not drive children**
