Aloha families! My name is Hope, and I love taking care of children! About me: I was raised in Michigan, but my mom's side of the family is from Hawai'i. I earned a BA in Linguistics and Dance and will be starting a Master's of Fine Arts Degree at UH this Fall. Special skills for childcare: due to my linguistics background, I have special interest and skills in helping children learn how to read and speak. If you and your child speak a language other than English, I would be more than happy to learn the languages you speak and assist your child in learning English. My childcare experience: I've babysat for 1 year regularly, 3 years on and off, and I worked at a preschool for two months.
