About Hope

Hi! My name is Hope, I'm a local Gonzaga student who grew up in Spokane in the Emerson Garfield neighborhood. I've babysat friends' and coworkers' kids since I was in middle school (10 years ago now, wow). I love crafting, especially with kids, and one of my hobbies is crocheting! I volunteered at Garry middle school through Gonzaga and we had lots of fun doing paper crafts and even making slime. I also have tutoring experience with elementary, middle, and high school material (though I'll be honest, for math we might be watching some Khan Academy videos together). I'd be super happy to help kids with homework, play games, and make crafts, as well as cook meals and provide transportation to activities. I'm CPR and First Aid trained through lifeguarding all four years of high school, and I also taught swim lessons with the YMCA, so I can provide transportation but I can also teach some skills!
