I have had a joy and passion helping and working for those with special needs since a very young age. My experience started out as a teenager volunteering within a young adults group my mother still leads to this day called "Uniquely Made." After High school, I went on to have various jobs working as a Personal care assistant within group homes for adults with special needs across a wide spectrum. I also have experience working with disabled youth assisting in physical exercises and teaching life skills. Much of my experience has been with autism, down syndrome, chromosomal delay and non verbal individuals. I've interacted many times with emotional difficulties and have learned how to utilize positive redirection! I would love to find a position where I can be of optimal assistance in an individuals life, bringing much happiness, compassion and care to them.
