About Hope

I’d describe my personality as helpful, nurturing, and supportive \r\n\r\nI like working with kids because they inspire me to think creatively. They are open minded, and love to learn about new things.\r\n\r\nI’m looking for a job that makes me feel like I am contributing to a better community.\r\n\r\nI started working with kids when I was a teenager. I babysat for neighbors, was a camp counselor, and a live-in nanny when first moved to NYC from South Dakota in 1986.\r\n\r\nIn my spare time, I like to write songs, do crafts, and draw.\r\n\r\nOne thing you should know about me is I am a singer/songwriter. I have gigs in the NYC area, and perform regularly. I can also teach music to children.\r\n\r\nMy skills include cooking, teaching music, and inspiring imaginative activities.
