About Hope C

While attending high school, I also attended a vocational school for licensed practical nursing. It was through that program that I earned my certification for nursing assistant and later attended a two week program for home health aide and personal care aide. I've worked in the homes of the elderly, assisting with ADL'S (activities of daily living), home exercise for physical therapy, grocery shopping, laundry, light housekeeping, respite care, or visiting for company. I worked in nursing homes, not only as a nursing assistant, but as a professional recreational/activities worker. I enjoyed listening to stories, singing to and with individuals, as well as reminiscing. I also specialized in dementia care, as well as working with individuals who have Multiple Sclerosis.
