A passion for education drives my commitment to helping students thrive. I'm working towards my ELA/Reading + STR certification for grades 4-8, and my background in Human Resources has equipped me with strong communication and problem-solving skills. I believe in an open-door approach to tutoring, creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. I carefully observe each student's learning style, encourage open communication, and regularly check in with parents to ensure we're all on the same page. Connecting challenging topics to real-world examples and celebrating small successes are key to keeping students motivated. Witnessing those "aha!" moments and seeing confidence blossom are the most rewarding parts of tutoring. As someone who navigates dyslexia, I bring a unique perspective and genuine excitement to teaching. I also have current CPR training and First Aid. I'm eager to share my enthusiasm for learning with you and your student.
