Giving care to those who are no longer able to care for themselves has been a labor of love for the past 20+ years. While working in the housekeeping department of a nursing home in Florida I struck up a friendship with a lady in residence there and decided I would like a more involved role in caring for others no matter what care they may need at any age so I transferred to the CNA department after earning my license. In the years since I made the transition from nursing homes to private care, that has been wonderful. I enjoy the one on one time with my clients that you just aren't able to have in a facility setting and in turn it gave me the flexibility to care for and raise my 2 children. Over the years I have worked with many different people who required a wide variety of services and assistive devises.
