I don't have a lot of paid experience with caring for others' pets but I can offer references for what experience I have had. I am an animal lover of all kinds and have owned German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Boas, hamsters and Guinea Pigs (my kids' :) ) cats, fish and Love Birds. I have always thought I'd like a parrot but life gets busy and I never thought I had the time required to have one. I haven't been formally educated on how to train dogs but I know the basics and have had a lot of experience with my own. I managed to teach them how to sit, stay, leave it and drop it and how to go wee outside lol. I am willing to walk dogs, clean cages, feed, water, sit and learn how to care for pets that I haven't cared for before. I know this probably isn't a stellar promotion of myself but it is honest.
