I have been a care giver for over 15 years now. I spent the first six years with the same couple until they decided to move and be closer to family. My duties included meds, cooking, cleaning, laundry, purchasing groceries and other necessities. I also drove them to all doctor appts, church, and any other places desired. If it needed to be done, I did it. After they moved, my second client came into my life. I was with her for five years until she unfortunately passed. She was disabled, so I used a hoyer lift to move her. Since then I have had two women who were best friends need me at different times. I enjoyed spending time with them and making them laugh. I enjoy spending time with my family and fiancé. I hope you will consider me, as I am very dependable and committed to giving the best care possible in order to make your loved ones happy and as healthy as possible. Holly has provided care for our special needs family member for several months. Our daughter who is deaf blind with severe cognitive delays is difficult to work with and does not like having new people care for her but she and Holly bonded in no time. Holly has the compassion and patience to work with people with challenging behaviors. Her kindness, dependability, and self motivation made all our lives easier. She is quite adept at assessing a situation and coming up with recommendations and or solutions. She is attentive and willing to do what needs to be done to make the environment better for her client. Holly is a self starter who asks questions and follows directions willingly. We feel so fortunate to have her working with us. I strongly recommend Holly as a care provider. She is genuinely suited for the job.
