I'd describe my personality as patient, kind & giving. I like working with kids because I love the perspective that children can give you experiencing the world through their eyes. Watching a child learn & grow is an amazing process that I am lucky enough to see unfold before me & appreciate working to help them develop into a happy, healthy child. I started working with kids when my sister had a baby when I was 8 so I had a baby to take care of instead of dolls with which to play! From that point on, children have been an extension of my life. Many families, many kids & lots of fun. I aspire to be a natural addition to the family. My skills include loving the little babies. I find patience & not giving up on figuring out what's going on is the key & builds a bond with the child. I have taught 3 babies sign language & getting that first sign back is SO rewarding! I am a flexible go with the flow type person so on the days the child may not feel well, I try to relax into it.
