We hired Holly to watch my 2 year old son while we work from home. We worked with her less than 3 weeks and decided to part ways. Pros: She was dependable and good with my son. Cons: Starting on day 1 she regularly questioned our parenting decisions (trust me, my son is very well taken care) and constantly tried to tell me what ls best for our son. During her second week she asked to drive our son to take him places around town. When I told her I wasn't comfortable with that yet, she quizzed me and asked how I could feel comfortable bringing him to a preschool in August but not comfortable with her driving him around. It was mind boggling she viewed going to preschool (that has an impeccable reputation for 30 years) as the same as letting someone I met on the internet 8 days prior take him out wherever she pleased.. If you hire her, make sure to let her know age appropriate foods. I was shocked to walk in and my son had a handful of sunflower seeds on his plate. When I told her seeds are a choking hazard for toddlers, instead of apologizing and saying she didn't know that, she argued with me they were fine for him to eat.
