I am an upbeat, caring, trustworthy person that loves to laugh. I like caring for seniors because I feel I'm a bit of an old soul myself. I love hearing about their experiences and bringing them joy. I have worked with mainly seniors (running an eyewear store) but the last few years was also a caregiver for my mother who was suffering from dementia who has now passed. I've recently come to the realization that caregiving is just something that comes natural to me and what I enjoy most. I've cared for 2 loved ones in their final years, and have realized this is what seems to be the most fulfilling to me. In my spare time, I love to read, watch movies, play games, garden, cook, DIY projects, and spend time with my family. I'm more than happy to help with cooking, cleaning, companionship, transporting, bathing and giving meds if needed.
