For two decades, I've dedicated myself to supporting adults & seniors with special needs, with a passion for their well-being & independence. I was inspired by my mother's compassionate care for my disabled father and welcoming mentally handicapped adults into her home who needed family, love and care. I'm a DSP, working in a group home now but have also done home care. I can help with daily living tasks, bathing, respite care, transportation, errands, light housekeeping, and meal preparation. I am experienced in non-verbal and verbal and also have done med management, I adapt to changes and de-escalate stressful situations, and handle issues with patience and empathy. I provide written daily reports or however you would prefer to be contacted! Respecting a care recipient's independence is important to me. I have a car and am comfortable with pets.
