About Holidae

Making a positive impact on children's lives is my goal. I have five years of experience caring for children, including those with special needs, especially those on the autism spectrum. I was a Registered Behavior Technician providing ABA therapy to children with Autism for the last 4 years until I recently accepted a position at an elementary school as an Autism Mentor. My approach is patient, kind, and accepting. I have some college education, Early Child Development Coursework, and I have some knowledge in Sign Language (ASL) with the capacity and desire to learn more. I am comfortable caring for up to three children. I follow the parents' lead when enforcing household rules and always adhere to their preferred method of communication. I enjoy playing board games, puzzles, and educational apps and/or activities with children. I am also certified in First Aid and CPR Training. I would love to bring my expertise and fun, caring nature to your family.
