About Hiwot
I'm a hardworking, patient, and attentive caregiver who truly enjoys working closely with others-especially older adults. While I currently work part-time as a nanny, my full-time career for the past 10 years has been in caregiving. I am employed through Care. com and have supported several families for over a year. I've asked a few of them to leave reviews, which should be visible soon. Although I may not have many public reviews specifically for senior care, I have extensive hands-on experience and would be happy to discuss it further if given the opportunity.

I can’t say enough amazing things about Hiwot! She was a tremendous help to our family and to my dad when he was struggling with dementia and his declining health. Hiwot helped my dad with everything from medication management, showering, toileting, meal prep, house keeping, laundry and cleaning up after dad’s numerous bathroom accidents. Hiwot even went to the doctor’s appointments and made sure that dad followed all the doctor’s orders. She also made sure to help dad with his PT, because he’d never do it on his own. Most of all, Hiwot felt like part of the family. She did everything with a heart of love and compassion and respected my dad greatly. Dad was reluctant to accept help, but after meeting Hiwot (he called her Hewe :)) he asked about her all the time and he allowed her to help him. They even tended to the garden together- something that dad loves to do, but wasn’t able to do because of his mobility issues. Hiwot was a blessing to our family. She really loves the people she works with and we appreciate all she did to support our family.
