About Himja

I don't really have many requirements in a job besides just telling me things about the kids that I should know. For example, when bedtime is, if there are any activities off limits, any picky eaters, and other things as such. In my spare time, I like to read, go on nature walks, hang out with friends, and cook. I am currently in college, my major is undecided (for now) with a focus in STEM. I would help out kids with homework (especially math) in my family a lot, so if that is something you're looking for, I'm more than happy to help :) My skills include communication, planning and flexibility, and patience. With children, it is important to be empathetic and sensitive while still being firm. For planning and flexibility, I think it's really important to plan activities before you get there, but you still need to be flexible. Patience is something that is probably the most important, especially if the child is really young and cannot regulate their emotions properly yet.
