Hilma cared for our son from 6 months to almost 2 years old. She was amazing. She is such a warm and responsible caregiver. She always had seemingly endless energy, patience and love to give. We moved out of the city so sadly we had to part ways. But we couldn't recommend her more.

Hilma is a joy to work with and is everything I look for in a nanny. I would have loved for her to continue taking care of my son if it wasn't for a family emergency that required us to move out of state. (I wish I could take her with us!) We hired Hilma for a nanny share with our child and another from a different family. She worked with us for about a year and a half, starting right before the pandemic, when our child was just 3 months old. We couldn't have asked for a kinder, more patient, more dependable and loving nanny for our child. She is super reliable, almost always on time and calling if she was a few minutes late. She communicated well with us as we navigated the pandemic together. She is well versed in the stages of child development and helped my child thrive, sharing her knowledge, tips and tricks with us while respecting our rules and ways of doing things. Our family knows Hilma as an attentive, reliable, loving, and energetic person and nanny to our neighbors' daughter and son. Hilma is friendly with both adults and children and can always be found interacting with, playing, and talking to the children in her care and the children around her. She speaks fluent English and Spanish and teaches the children both languages. Our young daughter adores Hilma and always runs up to her at the park to give her hugs. It is clear that Hilma loves being with children and she is nurturing, patient and enthusiastic; the children, in turn, also love her. I have turned to Hilma for advice on helping my daughter start with a nanny, toddler schedules, nap routines, age-appropriate activities, and potty training and she has always given very thoughtful and knowledgeable advice. Our family highly recommends Hilma as a nanny without any reservations, and we truly believe that she would be a wonderful addition to any family!

Hilma has been our occasional sitter for the past year and a half, and I can't recommend her enough. I've known Hilma for about two years. I'd see her when I would take my daughter to various sing-alongs around our neighborhood, and I'd frequently see Hilma, with the little girl she was nannying for. She was hard to miss: she was attentive and loving, and she seemed to be really enjoying being with the little girl. When I started my studies and needed a sitter for my daughter, I approached Hilma to ask if she could recommend someone with a similar attitude and sensibilities (since I knew Hilma was not available) and, boy, did she - she recommended our current sitter, whom we adore (and who's been working with us for the past year and a half). Every now and then, when our sitter needed a day off, Hilma babysat for us. My daughter loves her, and is always happy to hear she'll be covering for our sitter. I trust her completely, and appreciate how warm, kind  and affectionate she is. She speaks fluent Spanish and English.
