I have over 25 years experience caring for children of all ages, including twins, from babysitting and part-time after school care to living in as a nanny. I understand the importance of engaging young minds outside of technology and TV, outdoor exercise, building confidence and independence in basic life skills, and modeling good behavior. I can lead activities in cooking and baking, gardening, creative writing, sewing, and jewelry making and I'm very crafty. I volunteer regularly for the Kentucky Humane Society and foster animals, so I'm up for families with pets as well. I just love hanging out with kids and animals! Up until May I was with the same family for 10 years helping care for their two sons. I work part-time at the Louisville Free Public Library, but I am able to build a set schedule around the hours I am needed as a nanny.

Hillery has been a close friend of mine for fifteen years, ever since we met as colleagues. Many life changes later, Hillery swooped in to rescue me when my husband was sent abroad for six weeks and I was left alone with my three and four year old rambunctious boys-- and the flu. Not only is Hillery an amazing cook and a warm and fun companion for my little boys, she also tidied up the house, organized the toys, made responsibility charts and designed a rewards program to help the kids clean up. The boys loved her rotisserie chicken as well as the trips she took them on to Chuck E Cheese and the bowling alley. All in all, Hillery helped me with my boys for a month, and I know from her previous employer that she did a wonderful job there too. Hillery is an intelligent caregiver who wants the best for her kids and their parents! I highly recommend her from the point of view of a co-worker and friend as well as lucky recipient of her wonderful child care talents!
