About Hillary

I'm an Orton Gillingham trained reading tutor with over five years of tutoring experience and a background as a substitute reading teacher in public schools. I specialize in working with kids who have dyslexia, ADHD, and anxiety, using a warm, supportive approach that builds confidence and skills. As a mom to a child with dyslexia, who now reads beautifully, I understand both the challenges and the joy of progress. I offer personalized, multi-sensory lessons that help children thrive - academically and emotionally. I'm a patient, kind and upbeat tutor who meets each student at their current level and moves at a pace that works best for them. I create a warm, encouraging environment where kids can feel safe to take risks and grow. My sessions are filled with fun, hands on and engaging activities that keep learning meaningful and enjoyable, helping students build both skills and confidence.
