I genuinely enjoy cooking and keeping a home tidy, and I'm comfortable preparing healthy meals (including Chinese food and simple, healthy American breakfasts), encouraging hydration, and helping someone stay active and engaged. I'm also comfortable with light housekeeping (including bathrooms and general upkeep) and keeping things organized. I've spent a lot of time around senior women in their 70s and 80s, and I truly value respectful, calm communication-especially when someone needs gentle reminders and consistent support. I can also help with daily check-ins like recording blood pressure and tracking routines as requested.

We have been using Hetao (she goes by Lux) for over 2 months to help with my elderly father, who has Alzheimer's. Lux is energetic, friendly, patient, kind, and flexible. We've asked her to stop by twice a day and brush his teeth since he was forgetting to do this. She would also make food for my father and bring it with her, which was super thoughtful! We are continuing to use Lux but I just wanted to write this review because she is so great!
