About Hero

Hello, I'm Hero! I am a former gymnastics coach and assistant manager, and since the start of 2023 I have been working as a full time nanny. I believe in treating children as the unique individuals they are. My goal is always to create respectful, positive environment where children feel valued and heard. I'm grateful to have worked with kiddos of all ages and backgrounds over the years, being able to connect and engage with each of them is what drives my passion for this work. With nearly a decade of childcare experience, I am skilled in co-regulation, public outings, homeschooling support, and infant-school age care. I have specialized experience in neurodivergent and trauma-informed care, with coursework in modern-day autism support. I am pediatric CPR/AED/First Aid certified. I'm an animal lover (proud owner of a giant lap dog and a rambunctious orange cat!), and enjoy all things involving creativity! If it involves art projects, imagination, or problem solving, count me in!
