About Hermelinda

My name is Hermelinda. I am 25 years old and a mother of a 3-year-old. I have 2+ years of experience caring for individuals with special and complex medical needs. I currently care for a 15-year-old who is non-verbal, G-tube fed, and has autism and cardiac conditions. I assist with G-tube feedings, medications, treatments, bathing, personal care, meals, transportation, appointments, therapies, activities, and daily schedules. I also assist his two siblings with asthma and their medication routines. I am CPR and First Aid certified, including training with emergency equipment, and currently work through Care Village. I also have extensive experience caring for my grandmother through several medical situations, assisting with bathing, meals, transportation, personal and emotional care, appointments, and daily activities. I am relocating from Colorado to Chicago and would love the opportunity to provide compassionate care to children, adults, or seniors.
