About Helen

I'm a professional artist and educator with a BFA concentration in drawing, and I love helping children and teens grow their confidence through creativity. My teaching style is encouraging, hands-on, and personalized to each student's interests and skill level. I specialize in portrait drawing, sticker making, abstraction, pottery, & crafting projects using traditional materials and real-world art techniques. I do not teach digital art, choosing instead to focus on tactile, screen-free art experiences that encourage imagination & self-expression. Along with my art background, I have years of experience working with children in Montessori education, tutoring, & creative enrichment settings. I aim to create a relaxed, inspiring environment where students can explore new ideas, build artistic skills, and genuinely enjoy the creative process.
