About Helen

Hi! My name is Helen, I have 2+ years experience working with the elderly and dementia patients. I worked for a private company called Comfort Care in New York, where I cared for an elderly woman suffering from dementia. For three days a week I was with her, keeping her entertained and having fun all while managing her appointments, making sure she took her medications, and I did grocery shopping. I also worked as a nursing assistant at Munson Medical center on the stroke unit and have gone through extensive training in the hospital setting caring for stroke and Neurological patients suffering from cognitive impairments. I am great with all kinds of people! I have a fun and warm personality and I make the hours pass by quickly for someone looking for stimulation and socialization!
