About Helena

I am a registered nurse looking to provide quality care to my community. In-home care is at the root of my philosophy of optimal nursing care. I strive to help families keep their loved ones in the home as long as desired and is feasible. I began working with seniors at age 16 in Rehabilitation-nursing care homes, gained experience in Pediatrics in a thriving primary care office as well as providing individualized care as a Middle school nurse. I have worked in the hospital Medical-Surgical unit, a Hospice house, in home health and private duty nursing care tending to a multitude of illnesses and family dynamics. In addition, I have years of personal experience caring for a loved one in the home, understanding the multitude of complexities, patience and grace required, attention to detail and variety of tasks that accompany in-home care. My hope and goal is to provide some peace, joy, and comfort to the families and clients I serve.
