About Helena

I previously worked at a summer camp for 3 months, which gave me the skills essential for managing many children at once, including conflict resolution, positive reinforcement techniques, leadership, and teaching children creatively. This job has greatly improved my knowledge and understanding of working with children in a positive, uplifting manner. I also provided care to child patients through volunteer EMT training. My EMT knowledge and counselor experience greatly benefit me in working with children because I understand how to respond in crises, help children regulate emotions, and facilitate fun and learning in difficult situations. I have a Basic Life Support Certification card which includes child and infant CPR and choking response, as well as first aid. I also have a driver's license. I am currently a student, so I have limited availability Monday-Thursday.
