About Heidy

Heidy cared for my mother from November 2017 until April 2019, and she would still be caring for my mother...but sadly, my mother died in April 2019, so I am writing this review. Heidy is a skilled and compassionate caregiver. She was my mother's friend and companion as well. My mother was 90 when Heidy started, wheelchair-bound, and suffering from mild dementia. Heidy was a permanent, part-time caregiver, working between 24 and 40 hours weekly at my home. She managed all aspects of my mother's daily activities - dressing, personal care, meal planning and preparation, medication management, activities. She also accompanied my mother to medical appointments, and occasionally took her on shopping trips and to church. Heidy also gave me much advice on how to be a better caregiver myself.
