Hi, I'm Heidi! I am a mama to a sweet 6-year-old girl who was a 29 week preemie miracle! My husband and I will have been married for 8 years this fall. We are both animal lovers! I am also a part time assistant travel agent who specializes in Disney vacations! I have worked in childcare since November 2011. I have been a nanny for 4 families, I have worked with kids in a daycare setting, and I've also worked in our church's children's ministry as well. This past school year I was an assistant in a moderate/severe special education class. Our classroom had autistic, non verbal and Down syndrome students. It was my first experience in a special needs classroom! There were some difficult days, but so many rewarding ones as well! I have worked for families who prefer strict schedules and others who prefer all day play time. I'm fine with either! I have found 3 amazing families through care. com and I'm hoping to find another one soon :)

Heidi has been our nanny for the past two school years. She is phenomenal! She is super at following a schedule and is also great at coming up with new ideas for the day. She is second to none in creating fun crafts! Making puppets, painting rocks, and making hot air balloons are just a few. She is always online looking for ideas. My kids would also say she is a fantastic fort maker and baker as well!! My family absolutely adores her! Being an overprotective mom, finding someone who was trustworthy, super reliable and with wonderful morals was a must and we found all of these qualities in Heidi. I would highly recommend her to anyone in search of amazing care!!
