I'm creative and compassionate bringing hands on, engaging approaches to learning. With a background in History, Political Science, and the Arts - including sewing and design - I connect students in meaningful ways, working to find the best method of learning for each individual. I specialize in: History and Political Science - breaking down overwhelming concepts into smaller manageable pieces while using color and storyboarding methods to make the subject come alive. Test Prep and Study Skills - helping students feel prepared, confident and more calm through guidance and smart strategies. Art and Sewing - Teaching creativity and over coming challenges through step-by-step projects that build lasting skills and confidence. I also use creative artistic techniques when tutoring academics to help build a students lasting memory. I meet everyone where they are.
