About Heidi

I'd describe my personality as honest, caring and patient. I like caring for seniors because we become friends and I enjoy hearing their experiences. I try to give the same care I would give myself. I'm looking for a job that can be somewhat flexible while I go back to school and be a mom. I have continued caring for seniors since 2001. I have worked with a variety of seniors including those with dementia and assisted living. In my spare time, I am with my children, dog or working on homework. One thing you should know about me is that I am good at what I do. I encourage independence. The families I have helped trust me with their loved ones. They feel more at ease knowing I am there taking care of loved one. My skills include assisting with bathing, food preparation, light housekeeping, dressing, hygiene, laundry, and bathroom assistance. I will anything needed to lighten the load of client while maintaining as much independence as possible and within the bounds of safety.
