About Heidi

Professionally I have served as a personal nanny, tutor and was the assistant director of a Sylvan Learning Center. I was able to use my 2 years of education training as a regular assistant in both the general and neuro-diverse classrooms for several years. I have also homeschooled my older children for several years. Personally, I am fairly easy going, dependable, prompt and respectful. Our family, which includes my husband, young adult son and teen daughter, enjoys aviation, hiking, and birding. I am also enamored with old houses! Facilitating kids' interests and nurturing autonomy within bounds and calculated risk taking are beliefs I hold strongly, as well as my Christian faith. I am happy to watch up to two 3+ year old here in my home if more convenient. You provide their transportation and food (please, no peanut products in my home). I do withhold nanny taxes as required by law. My contract lays out the easy steps needed if you don't have an employer tax id set up already.
