Our elderly deserve loving care with compassion, patience and inspiration. I have experience working with Dementia. I believe in trying to motivate our elderly in staying as independent as possible. Spoiling them and doing things they are capable of just adds to the decline of their life. I use silliness and inspiration to try and make each day better as their quality of life doesn't usually offer much when trying to accept losing all the things that came with independence as they knew it. Providing a clean environment with support on a daily can make a huge difference. I am a QMAP so I can disperse medication too. Cooking is a passion of mine too. My motivation is to be there for our elderly as life can be lonely.
