About Heidi

Hello, my name is Heidi, and I'm a college student who enjoys working with children and creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment. I have experience caring for kids ages 2-11, especially ages 6-11 from working as a camp counselor last summer. As a group leader responsible for 28 children, I learned how to stay organized, patient, and attentive while managing allergies, EpiPens, dietary restrictions, and supporting children with special needs. I also have over a year of experience as an EMS assistant, where I helped care for patients of all ages, organized medical documents, and provided emotional support to patients and families during stressful situations. This strengthened my communication and problem-solving skills. I love keeping kids active through arts and crafts, sports, games, cooking, and baking. My goal is to create a fun and safe environment families can trust!
