About Heidi

Unlocking a student's unique potential through personalized support is the cornerstone of my teaching philosophy. Over the past two years, I have helped middle and high school students master Math and English by breaking complex problems into manageable steps. I actively observe how you interact with new material to tailor my methods to your specific learning style. By connecting challenging concepts to your personal interests and real-world examples, I foster the critical thinking skills necessary for long-term success. I prioritize clear communication to build a collaborative environment between you and your family. Whether we meet at your home, a library, or online, I am dedicated to guiding you toward those rewarding "aha!" moments. Seeing your confidence grow as you achieve your academic goals is truly the best part of my work, and I look forward to supporting your journey toward excellence.
