About Heidi

Hi! I'm Heidi, I am 26 years old and I've been working with children and families for over 10 years. I have experience caring for infants through teens, including children with autism, ADHD, and developmental needs. I prioritize being a nurturing, dependable, hands-on caregiver who loves creating fun, engaging activities while also supporting children's communication, emotional regulation, and independence. I have a background in Psychology, a Music minor, and am currently continuing my education in Speech-Language Pathology. I'm CPR certified, a strong swimmer, and have a clean driving record. I also have experience with AAC, sensory strategies, therapy carryover, routines, and collaborating closely with parents and professionals. Most importantly, I want every child I care for to feel safe, understood, supported, and confident. I love getting to know each child's unique personality and interests and becoming a trusted, positive part of their life!
