About Heidi

I was the long-time aunt who never had kids of my own. I grew up baby-sitting since I was 10. After I got married, I did some in-home child care in my 20's for a short time, then I did foster care for a special needs (medical) infant, and later for a 10-year-old girl. I have helped in the nursery at 3 different churches over the years. I also have a grown step-son, who I have a great relationship with. I have been in his life since he was 12. I am responsible, stable, and kind and would provide attentive supervision. I would especially like working with kids who are curious, love learning and playing, and who have a sweet nature. That would be a good fit for me because I am more reserved, but I also love learning, have many diverse interests, and am a bit of a tomboy. I am open to housework, preparing meals, or other help as needed. My faith is very important to me (Christian), so working for a family of faith would be even better.
