Hello! after caring for my dad, I realized that caregiving is a calling. It was an honor to help him and it would be an honor to help your loved one, too! I am outgoing, compassionate and like to make people laugh. Although I have no medical training, I have been trained in CPR. There are many altruistic rewards when caring for a senior. It's also an honor to help them maintain dignity. As a daughter/caregiver of a man who was an author and professor with a doctorate who faded away with Alzheimer's disease, I know that the ailment doesn't define who they are. There's so much more to their story! Mental stimulation is vital; encouraging story telling and reminiscing about family and interesting times in their life. I am an expert shopper as I did professional grocery shopping for years! You'll always have the best of the best in product selection! I like creating a happier environment for the senior. Tidying, cooking something, bringing the sunlight in!
