About Heidi

Heidi was life-saver time and again for our family during the years she helped care for our widowed dad, who was living somewhat independently in a senior retirement community but in great need of assistance because of his deepening dementia and other occasional health issues. Because of distance, we couldn't always be there when he needed us, but Heidi almost always was, even though she had her own family to care for. She managed everything from his shopping to his medications, and took care of whatever needed to be done day to day, in big ways and small. She was excellent in communicating with the family, and in flagging and solving small problems before they became big ones. Most of all, she provided true friendship and companionship to our father at a time in his life when he was lonely, mourning our mother, and needed human connection more than anything. I couldn't recommend Heidi more highly as a caregiver.
