About Heidi

I'm a single mom to a precious nearly 5-year-old boy and love nurturing children from infants to childhood. I have a degree in elementary education and taught full time for 7 years before cutting back on work to start my own family. I have 2 years of Nanny experience, experience from my own child, and experience from helping with my much younger brothers during my teen years. I am very patient and compassionate. I pay careful attention to detail; prioritize safety and stability for children; and highly value caring approaches that place respect on children's individuality and emotional health. I enjoy taking children on park outings, facilitating fun activities with them, doing crafts, playing games with them, etc. I am happy to do meal prep and light housework associated with caring for the children. I have CPR certification, am comfortable with pets, do not smoke, and have my own transportation.
