About Heavyn

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With two years of experience, I specialize in Math, English, Test Preparation, Music, Drama, and essential Study Skills for elementary and middle school learners. I believe every student possesses unique strengths, so I prioritize building confidence over simple memorization. By observing how you interact with new material, I tailor my approach using visual aids, hands-on activities, and open dialogue to ensure the best results. I break complex problems into manageable steps, celebrating every "aha!" moment along the way. I maintain clear, consistent communication with families to foster a supportive and collaborative environment. Whether we meet at your home, a library, or online, I am committed to making learning an engaging and rewarding experience. I truly look forward to helping you discover how capable and bright you really are.
