About Heaven

Hi, I'm Heaven! I work as a substitute teacher for Public Schools, assisting ages K3-9th grade in all subjects. I love helping students unlock their full potential through personalized learning. I understand that different students need different approaches to learning. I have a bachelor's degree and a few years of experience with tutoring and child care. My skills include connecting topics to real world problems, breaking down problems into bite sized steps and American Sign Language. When I babysit kids my main focuses are keeping the child engaged with active play time, reading and exploring the town if permitted. I prioritize communication between myself and the parent, so you can stay updated on how things are going. I am comfortable tutoring at your home, a center, online, the library, a community center, a school, or a coffee shop. I can babysit wherever you need me. Hope to hear from you soon!
