About Heather

I'd describe my personality as patient , calm , and gentle I like working with kids because kids are the future . It's important to make a positive impact on children . It takes a village . I have experience working with children from ages 6 plus . I do have a connective tissue disease so I cant be on feet for extended periods of time . I can cook and do light housework. I can engage the kids in activities like board games and artwork . I started working with kids when I was as a special education paraprofessional, moving on to special education school bus driver . In my spare time, I like to read and watch documentaries , go fishing and cuddle with my cat . One thing you should know about me is I am trustworthy and kind . I'm very patient with children . My skills include keeping the children engaged in activities , teaching social skills , and humor , kids respond well to humor - only kid appropriate humor , though .
