My name is Heather and I am a 51-year-old mom of 3 kids ages 28, 25 & 22 I have a BA in Elementary Education and a Master's degree in reading. I taught Pre-school and Kindergarten years ago but then stopped to raise my family. I currently (and for the past 11 years) have been a teaching assistant at a local elementary school in their special education program. I often babysit for several local familes for date nights as well as overnights. I love being around children and seeing as my kids are getting bigger I would love to use my excitement for children in another capacity. I have experience with ages 1 day old-18 years old. I love to be outside and active with children and I love seeing them learn, even if it is just a fascination for a leaf. I am a very crafty person and love to come up with as well as help do arts and crafts. I have a craft studio in our house that my daughter just loved. I have a car and a clean driving record. I love pets!

Heather was wonderful! Our three kids (ages 9 months, 3, and 4.5) all loved spending the evening with her. She's clearly a pro - jumping right in to help with the kids, as we were trying to feed them dinner and get out the door. Our baby got sick (while in his crib) that evening, and she knew exactly what to do. She searched for and found a new sleep sack and crib sheets, cleaned him up, rocked him back to sleep (and of course let us know.) We can't wait to have Heather over again!
