About Heather

Nurturing children's growth and development has always been a passion. I am an educator and have been teaching for five years. I currently teach 1st grade. I began babysitting when I was a freshman in high school and I am now 29, so I have 15-years of experience supporting families including experience with infant twins. I am patient, creative, and approachable. I communicate through the parent or guardian's preferred method. I am very comfortable enforcing household rules. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, puzzles, and educational games with children of all ages, including infants, toddlers, and those up to age 12 and older. I have a bachelors degree in elementary education and a masters degree in teaching and learning. I am comfortable caring for up to four children. I can help with cooking, light housekeeping, crafts, and swimming supervision. I look forward to bringing my experience and enthusiasm to your family!
