About Heather

I am a mother of two children now 12 & 16. I have always loved children and have spent most of my adult life working with kids. I began working professionally with kids 30 years ago as a residential counselor in a children's home. I was a SAHM for 10 years and am currently a school bus driver- I have a CDL. My oldest child is on the autism spectrum and understand the unique challenges that come with those differently abled. I have a lot of patience, dinosaur and other general kid knowledge. I am looking for PT work after 9 am- 6 p.m. and am flexible within those hours. I am an excellent cook and willing to help with meal prep, light chores, take kids to zoo, playgrounds, classes. I would consider myself creative, silly, honest, responsible and reliable. I am comfortable with pets, non smoker. I would also be willing to help with grocery shopping and small errands. I enjoy cooking, reading, gardening, hiking and games.
