I possess a current CNA license that I obtained through the Red Cross. I have cared for an elderly man in his home for 3 years through IHSS. He suffered a stroke, heart attack, and is diabetic. He has severe short term memory and mental health issues. I previously worked with the elderly in a retirement community as well for about a year. I am CPR/First aid certified. I am currently trying to get into Nursing school as well.

I hired Heather 4 years ago to assist me in caring for my 96 year old mother with Alzheimer's, 4 days a week. Heather was a tremendous help! She would get her up in the morning, bathing and dressing her, feeding her. She would also hold her hand and sing to her when putting her to bed at night. She was always cheerful and my mother seemed to enjoy her company very much for the 18 months until my mother passed on. Since then I adopted 2 puppies which Heather has been my dog sitter now for when I frequently go out of town. She is so great with them! She takes them on long walks and swims with them, even though it is not asked of her. Heather has been a wonderful and helpful addition to my life!
